Ages are suggestions based on experience (excludes Zumbini). Children develop at different rates and in different ways. You know your child best. Please reach out if you’d like to discuss. Class Meets Once Weekly. Makeup classes may be available during other time slots, if possible. Please check with instructor. |

Dance Imagination (ages 3-5)Dance Imagination introduces young children to dance basics. We will cover fundamental techniques such as plies, tendus, leaps, and skips. Activities that spark our imaginations will keep us engaged while building confidence as well as balance, rhythm, and coordination. As a bonus, dance class helps kids learn to listen, cooperate, and follow directions while giving an outlet for energy and creativity.

Storybook Ballet (ages 5-8)For dancers who can focus on dancing, we'll add more technique instruction with storybooks and games to reinforce concepts and for motivation! This class will introduce young dancers to ballet basics. We will practice plies, tendus, leaps, and positions, while gaining balance, control, and rhythm. Phrase work will help students see how to put dance steps into action.

Hip Hop (ages 8-12)Musicality, hard-hitting movements, body isolations, energy, textures, and the ability to freestyle are some of the elements we'll cover. Students will be encouraged to bring their own style and personality to the movements. We will set to music the basic hip hop moves we learn and make a video of our dance skills--a fun keepsake.
